Old Guitar Heroby ~mkio

Customization / Wallpaper / HDTV & Widescreen

I have been playing Guitar Hero alot. Alot.

Right from the beginning I have been looking at the same picture thinking "I want that as my desktop picture". I browsed through several Guitar Hero pages, including the original and various fan sites - I couldn't find that picture anywhere.

As the solution, I started the game and took a _photo_ of the TV screen and the loading screen where the picture was in the background and sent it to my computer via Bluetooth.

Spend a couple of hours vectorising it in Inkscape and colored it in Gimpshop (hey, I'm a student, I can afford a Apple Blackbook but not the professional programs

). The picture is simple and you probably will find some flaws in it but for me, it's pretty much everything I wanted it to be. So, I'm happy, hopefully some of you will be too

Wasn't absolutely sure where I should post this, Games, Music, People or Vectors but decided to post it to the "HDTV/Widescreen" category, after all, it is made to be a wide picture.

Firstly, click the picture so it becomes big

Secondly, click the picture with the second mouse button and choose "Save as" or whatever means the same.

Did it work?
